When upgrading from Sequoia to Tahoe, some might lose accessibility feature (text to speech) that were set up. A few scenarios:
Text to speech not working in Chrome when wearing Airpods: Go to chrome://settings/content/microphone and change the default microphone to the connected Airpods
Liquid Glass does not offer as much contrast (esp. with pop ups and other things that might overlay on the screen)
- Settings Path: Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Liquid Glass.
- Clear (Default): Offers high transparency and a glassy, "soft" look.
- Tinted: Increases opacity and boosts contrast, making text and icons stand out more.
- Reduce Transparency: A more drastic measure located in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size that completely removes the glass effect, making elements opaque. [We recommend changing this setting if there are problems with legibility/contrast]
