Setting Up Your Form
Information on how to use and create Google Forms
Best Practices
Mark important questions as required to ensure you get crucial information.
Limit the form length to maintain respondent interest.
Use complete sentences with proper grammar and punctuation.
Have a peer review your form before distribution to catch any errors or unclear questions.
Collecting User Information
For internal organizational use:
To collect email addresses, go to Settings > Responses and check "Collect email addresses". Note: When requiring email addresses for an internal (Pomfret School) form, it isn’t necessary to ask for first or last name.
For anonymity, ensure the "Collect email addresses" option is unchecked.
Additional Tips
For longer forms, consider directing respondents to relevant sections based on their answers.
Set up email notifications for new submissions.
