Sorting Data

  1. Select the Range: Highlight the cells or columns you want to sort.
  2. Go to Data Menu: Click on Data in the menu bar.
  3. Choose Sort Option: Select Sort range for the selected cells only, or Sort sheet to apply sorting to the entire sheet. You can sort alphabetically (A-Z) or reverse (Z-A) for text, and ascending or descending for numbers.

Filtering Data

  1. Activate Filter: Click the Create a filter button under the Data menu.
  2. Filter by Values or Conditions: Click on the filter icon in the header of the column you want to filter. Select specific values or set custom conditions (e.g., greater than, contains).
  3. Clear Filter: To remove, click on the filter icon again and deselect any filters applied.
