Have you had an oops moment when you hit the Send button on an email that wasn't quite finished yet? Gmail allows you to set a shot delay, up to 30 seconds, where you can unsend a message after hitting the Send button.

  • Click the gear icon to get into your settings
  • Locate the Undo Send section
  • Change the send cancellation setting to the longest time you would like. We recommend 30 seconds
  • Click Save Changes at the bottom

When you hit the send button, a small window pops up in the bottom of the screen. Within the threshold of the time you set in the setting above, you can click Undo to stop the message from being sent. Remember - you must click undo in the time that you set.
